Deputy Chief William Higgins reports that Enfield Fire District No. 1 extinguished a pickup truck fire earlier today.
On Friday, Jan. 13, at 12:45 p.m., Enfield Fire District No. 1 was dispatched for a report of a pickup truck fire on Hathaway Avenue. The vehicle was parked in a driveway next to a house and garage, and unoccupied at the time of the fire. The flames from the truck fire extended to the rear of the house as well.
Enfield firefighters quickly worked to extinguish the vehicle fire and the fire that extended to the rear of the home. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
