ENFIELD — Chief Edward N. Richards and the Enfield Fire District No. 1 would like to remind residents to check their smoke and carbon monoxide alarms when setting their clocks back for Daylight Saving Time this weekend.
Shortly after 3 a.m. today, Enfield Fire District No.1 responded to I-91 North in the area of Exit 47 for reports of a multi-vehicle crash. Debris from the crash, including garbage and packages, were scattered across all three lanes of traffic. The highway was shut down for several hours.

The Enfield Fire District will hold the regular September Commissioner meeting on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. at Fire Station No. 1, 200 Phoenix Avenue.
