ENFIELD, Connecticut — Chief Edward N. Richards reports that the Enfield Fire Department responded to a rollover crash earlier this week

On Tuesday, May 7, at 8:05 p.m., crews from Enfield Fire District No.1 responded to Interstate 91 at exit 46 on the northbound side for a report of a single-vehicle crash.

An on scene investigation indicated that the operator, a male in his 20s, lost control of his vehicle while navigating the exit ramp at a turn, striking an embankment and rolling over back onto the exit ramp.

The male operator was traveling alone in a vehicle registered out of state. He was able to self extricate himself from the vehicle. He suffered injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening and was treated on scene by Enfield EMS.
