Deputy Chief Bill Higgins, on behalf of Enfield Fire District No. 1, would like to share the schedule for the department’s upcoming 9/11 Memorial Tribute Garden Remembrance Event.
The 9/11 Memorial Tribute Garden Remembrance Event will be held on Sunday, Sept. 11 beginning at 9 a.m. at the 9/11 Memorial Tribute Garden at Enfield Fire Station #2, 199 Weymouth Road. The event will be held rain or shine.
The schedule for the event is as follows:
- 9 a.m. – Assemble at the 9/11 Memorial Garden Site
- 9:05 a.m. – Ceremony Commences with siren
- “The National Anthem” sang by Elizabeth Santino
- Invocation led by Pastor Gary Santino
- Introduction & Welcome Address from Enfield Fire Deputy Chief Bill Higgins
- 9/11 Tribute Wreath by Riley’s Dance Studio
- 9/11 Tribute Song, “When Heroes Climbed the Sky,” performed by The Dave O’Hagan Band
- Commentaries from the Fire District Administration
- Closing Remarks
- “God Bless America” sang by Elizabeth Santino
Following the ceremony, light refreshments will be served at the station.
