Chief Edward N. Richards and Deputy Chief William Higgins are pleased to share that Enfield Fire District No. 1 hosted a Family & Friends CPR Course for residents this past Wednesday and will host their second course this Saturday.

Enfield Fire District No. 1 hosted its first of two Family & Friends CPR Courses being offered this week. The first session was hosted on Wednesday, Feb. 1 from 7-10 p.m at Station 2, 199 Weymouth Road. The class was well attended by district residents.

Session 2 will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4 from 9 a.m. to noon at Station 1, 200 Phoenix Ave. This course still has some seats open.  Those interested in attending should contact Administrative Assistant Rebecca Simonian-Luke at rluke@enfieldfire.org or 860-745-1878 with their name and address to RSVP for this session.

The community-based Family & Friends CPR Course is a two-hour course that is offered at no cost to residents ages 16 and older. The course is taught by Firefighter-EMT/EMS-I Lafaiete Sousa.
