William “Bill” Moran brings more than 30 years of maritime, construction and general industry safety consulting to his PMA clients. Bill is a retired Firefighter and a Fire Service Instructor; he was instrumental in developing several core fire prevention and compliance programs.

As a United States Marine one of his many tasks was to monitor 1600 Marines for internal regulatory compliance programs. During his service to his country, he received several accommodations, and multiple citations. Upon his departure from the Marine Corps, he enrolled himself at Westfield State University graduating in 1992 with a degree in Business Science. In 2013 Bill once again found himself graduating from Keene State, where he was the first to graduate with a master’s degree in Occupational and Health Applied Science, graduating tops in his class with high honors.

He currently teaches at Keene State as an Adjunct Professor for the Occupational Health Applied Science degree program. Bill is also an OSHA Trainer for the OSHA Training Institute in Manchester, NH.

Bill has contributed to several safety board’s where he has either sat on or currently sits on, such boards as the National Safety Council (NSC), Connecticut Safety Society (CSS), Connecticut Construction Industry Association (CCIA), Associated General Contractors (AGC), Connecticut Business Industry Association (CBIA), and American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC). He is also a member in good standing with the American Safety Society Engineers (ASSE).

He has written and helped write several published safety articles for the safety industry. With the request from the Board of Certified Safety Professional (BCSP) Bill, was asked to co- develop and implement programs and testing guidelines of new safety professional’s certifications. Bill also serves as an Ambassador for the BCSP - Board of Certified Safety Professionals Nationally and internationally.

Bill resides in Northern CT with his wife Pamela and three beautiful daughters, in his free time you can catch him on the Farmington River enjoying a little time fly-fishing.
