Enfield Fire District No.1 is pleased to announce that its newest apparatus, Engine 16, has recently been put into service. Engine 16 is a pumping engine that was built by Pierce Manufacturing Inc. in Wisconsin.

Engine 16 boasts a 1,250 GPM pump with 750 gallons of water and has many of the latest modern safety features. Engine 16 is housed at Station 1 on Phoenix Avenue and replaces the department’s old 1991 pumping engine, Engine 6.
